Quality & Compliance

Most ingredient websites say the documentation exists. This page says what is in it, who produces it, and what happens when a lot is questioned.

What is tested

ParameterMethodFrequency
Assay (active content)HPLC or GC, method named on the specificationEvery lot
Heavy metals — Pb, As, Cd, HgICP-MSEvery lot
Microbiology — total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, SalmonellaPharmacopoeial methodsEvery lot
Pesticide residuesGC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MSEvery lot on botanical extracts
Residual solventsGCWhere solvents are used in the process
IrradiationPSL screeningWhere an irradiation-free declaration is required

Who tests it

Testing is carried out by an accredited third-party laboratory, independent of the production site. In-house QC at the manufacturing partner is used for process control only — it is not the basis of the certificate you receive.

The document set

Batch numbers and retained samples

Every lot carries a batch number that maps to its production date, the raw material source and the sample we keep. A retained sample is held for two years, so a question raised after delivery is answered from the same material — not from a new batch that happens to test well.

When a lot is questioned

  • We re-test the retained sample at a third-party laboratory, at our cost, before any commercial discussion starts.
  • If the result confirms the deviation, the lot is replaced or credited in full, including freight and disposal where applicable.
  • You receive the investigation record in writing.

What this page does not claim

We do not display certificates we do not hold. Where a manufacturing partner holds one — GMP, ISO 22000, HACCP, halal, organic — it is named as theirs, and a copy is sent with the quotation instead of being used as decoration on this page.

Documents you can ask for now

Ask for the specimen set — a redacted certificate of analysis, a specification sheet and a safety data sheet for a product close to your specification — and we will send the PDFs with the quotation.
